7 out of 10 use Pinterest to get inspiration for purchases

I don’t know about you, but I could spend hours on Pinterest, just pretending I’m going to get fit alone.

But while I look at it from a marketing perspective, it’s easy to forget that most people haven’t got a clue that they’re being marketed to/at.

Whatever the scenario, this #infographic contains stunning data about Pinterest for Business and why you’re missing a trick if you’re yet to go visual with your brand.

The Pinterest Opportunity for Marketers

The key takeaway for me is the fact that 70% of users say they take inspiration for their next purchase from images they find on Pinterest.

Combine that with a 36% increase in likes for images that have a price tag in addition to the average sale value ($180 vs $85 on Facebook) and you’re suddenly talking about a serious marketing opportunity.

There’s much more graphic info in the infographic (#ns), so I’ll hush my mouth and let you peruse at your leisure, maybe even come up with your own deductions and reasons why Pinterest is imperative for brands.

Would greatly appreciate your feedback in the comments or on G+, whatever floats your boat…
